Awards

In just around one semester of writing for Scot Scoop before transitioning to an editorial role, I was fortunate to receive recognition for a couple of my articles. My most recognized piece was a long-form feature story, noted for its depth, narrative clarity, and focus on a meaningful issue within the community. Additionally, a few of my news stories earned awards in student journalism contests, including placements from the California Press Women organization. I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to grow as a journalist, share stories that matter, and be part of a publication committed to impactful, ethical reporting.
